I was walking through Trafalgar Square last weekend and there was actually ice forming in the fountain. I stopped to take a photo, and in the process managed to very nearly drop my iPhone in the icy water&#8230;</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>The trees were definitely not the only things <strong>suffering from the cold</strong> when I took this picture this weekend in Berkshire. <span id="more-747"></span>We were strolling through a local forest to get ourselves settled in to the nearest pub for a hearty lunch and I caught this shot of the bitter sun shining through the branches.</p>
<p>There&#8217;s something about the cold that makes everything that extra bit crisper; Atmosphere, contrast, clarity. I loved it so much I&#8217;m sharing it.</p>
<p><strong>Now, someone pass me some gloves</strong>. Typing makes my hands remember the <strong>-8°C wind chill</strong>.</p>
